"The marriage contract is concluded at Umm Al-Quwain Federal First-Instance Religious Court, being the official competent authority. You can conclude the contract inside or outside the court building.
If you want to conclude the marriage contract inside the court building, you and the other party should head to the marriage contracts division accompanied by the witnesses and bring the required documents. If you want to conclude the marriage contract in another place outside the court building, such as in the house, you only have to be present or call the court to ask for an external marriage official.

 

You should make sure that all the required documents are available on time so that the marriage official can complete the procedures of the contract conclusion. After the contract has been concluded, you or the other party can appear before Umm Al-Quwain Federal First-Instance Religious Court within 2 – 3 days to receive the marriage contract and a certified copy of it.
