The visitor coming to Umm Al-Quwain to reunite with the residing family members or to practise work should obtain a prior permit to enter the UAE. Work permits can be obtained through the employment entity in the state which submits an application to the General Directorate for Residency and Foreigners’ Affairs – Umm Al-Quwain with the required documents and papers includeing:
- Letter of assignment of the guaranteed person.
- A photocopy of the guaranteed person’s passport, which should be valid for more than 6 months.
